The GPSmap 441s comes preloaded with satellite enhanced navigational maps of the entire United States coastal areas (including Alaska, Hawaii and the Bahamas). I’m sure you noticed the ’s’ at the end of the 441s. This indicates that this is the ’sounder’ version of the basic 441 model. Both the 441 and 441s have identical features and options with the exception that the 441s also comes with a powerful dual-frequency transducer, making it a combination chartplotter and fishfinder. The dual frequency transducer is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater applications, clearly displaying depth contours, fish, and other bottom structures.
